Scripts

Short-form video scripts, built in four steps. Studio, then Scripts.

The builder

Opening a script slides in a full-height sheet with a stepper. Each step saves as you go, so you can leave and come back.

  1. Title and topic — what this is about
  2. Reference video — an optional video from Videos whose structure you want to borrow
  3. Hook — an optional hook from Hooks to open with
  4. Framework and input — how it should be structured, and what it is built from

Then Generate.

Frameworks

FrameworkShape
problem_agitate_solveName the pain, make it hurt, resolve it. The default, and it works
hero_journeyWhere you were, what changed, where you are now
listicleN things, numbered
myth_bustEveryone believes X, here is why X is wrong
tutorialHow to do a specific thing
storytimeOne story, told properly

Input modes

ModeUse when
from_ideaYou have a one-line idea and want it expanded. The default
from_outlineYou have the beats and want them written up
polish_draftYou wrote something and want it tightened

polish_draft is underused. Writing a rough version yourself and having it tightened produces something much closer to your voice than generating from nothing.

Statuses

draft while you work on it, final when you finalise it.

Then what

Send to drafts turns a finalised script into a draft in Planning, where it goes through the normal approve and schedule path.

Recording and editing are yours. Postlyra writes the words.

Where scripts come from

  • Started fresh here
  • Start script on an idea in the Library, instead of promoting it to a draft
  • Write script from a hook
  • New script from a tracked video

The reference video

Worth using. Picking a video that performed well and generating against its structure produces something shaped like a thing that already worked, in your voice about your topic.

You are borrowing the structure, not the content.

A note on length

Short-form scripts should be 30 to 45 seconds spoken, which is much less text than it looks like on screen. Read the output aloud with a timer before you accept it.
