Connect an account

Studio, then Settings, then Connections.

A grid of platform cards. A platform without a working connector does not appear at all, so what you see is what you can actually use.

Two ways to connect

One-click OAuth. You are redirected to the platform, you approve, you come back connected. LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and Google Business work this way.

Some of those manage several targets under one login (Facebook Pages, Google Business locations). Those bounce you back to a picker to choose which one this connection posts to.

Credentials you paste. You generate a token or app password on the platform's own site and paste it in. Instagram and Bluesky work this way.

See Platform support for what each one accepts, and the per-platform pages for the exact steps.

Statuses

needs_reauthThe platform definitively rejected the credentials. Reconnect

Tokens refresh automatically on a daily job, with a policy per platform (TikTok's 24 hour tokens refresh every run, Instagram's 60 day tokens occasionally).

When a refresh is definitively rejected the account is marked needs_reauth, you get a notification, and a badge appears on Settings. It stops retrying at that point rather than hammering the platform forever.

Nothing publishes to an account in needs_reauth. Reconnect from the same page.

Credentials are stored per brand

Encrypted, on the connection row, never in a config file.

This matters more than it sounds: a token in a config file would apply to every brand at once, which is wrong the moment you run two identities.

Most "nothing is showing up here" questions come down to a missing connection.

Disconnecting

The delete button on a connection card. It attempts a platform-side revoke as well, on a best-effort basis.

Scheduled slots pointing at a removed account will fail. Skip them, or reschedule onto another account, before disconnecting.

Research credentials are separate

Two different Instagram credential paths

The Instagram connection here is your own account: publishing, metrics, DMs.

Instagram research, meaning looking at other people's accounts, runs on platform-level credentials shared across all tenants. You do not configure it, and it is not the same thing.

The one overlap: Instagram hashtag search runs on your own connected account, and Meta caps it at 30 unique hashtags per rolling 7 days per account. Spend those carefully. See Search.
