Content profiles

Your content identity. A profile carries a name, an accent colour, a handle and URL, a voice guide, your content pillars, and a default carousel template.

Studio, then Content profiles.

Do this first

Nearly everything depends on a content profile. The AI planner, the comment scan, carousel rendering and every idea import will refuse without one, with "No profile configured for this team yet".

Voice guide

The single highest-leverage field in the product. Every AI generation reads it first.

A vague voice guide produces the generic AI voice everyone can spot. A specific one, with actual bans, produces something that sounds like you.

What works:

Simple, direct, conversational English. I am not a native speaker, so no
vocabulary I would not say out loud.

Banned words: delve, leverage, game-changer, unlock, elevate, robust,
seamless, unleash, dive in, in today's world.

Never use an em dash. Use a period, a comma, or parentheses.

First person. This is me talking, not a brand account.
Honest and slightly blunt. If something failed, say it failed. No spin.

Hook in the first line. Concrete numbers over vague claims ("3 months" not
"a while", "$400 MRR" not "early traction"). Short paragraphs, 1 to 3
sentences. End with a question or a clear point, not a forced call to action.

Note how much of it is prohibitions. Telling a model what not to do is more effective than telling it to "be authentic".

Refine it over time. When a generated draft sounds wrong, the fix usually belongs here rather than in the draft.

Content pillars

The 3 to 5 themes you post about. Ideas and drafts get tagged with one, which is what makes per-pillar performance analysis possible later.

A: build-in-public. What happened this week, plainly. Wins and misses both.
B: technical takes. Opinionated, backed by something I built or broke.
C: product value. Talk to the reader's problem, not the feature list.
D: lessons and failures. The mistake first, then what I would do differently.

Giving each pillar a tone note, as above, is worth doing. The planner reads them.

Accent colour and handle

Used when rendering carousels, so slides carry your colours and your handle without you setting it per post.

Which carousel template this profile's carousels use. Overridable per draft.

Several profiles

Create more than one when the same brand posts in genuinely different voices. A technical account plus a founder account, or English plus another language.

Each idea and draft is assigned a profile, and the index shows how many of each are using it.

Do not use separate profiles for separate platforms. Per-network caption differences are handled in the composer at schedule time.

What does not live here

Connected social accounts are per brand, not per profile. Several profiles share one set of connections.

Persona, your niche and audience, lives in Settings. See Persona.
